World Environment Day Celebrated at PDUAM Tulungia

World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June 5th to raise awareness about environmental issues and encourage people to take action to protect our planet. Like the previous year, the Commerce Forum and NSS Unit of Pandit Deendayal Upadhaya Adarsha Mahavidyalaya Tulungia organized a special event to mark the occasion.

The event began with a plantation drive, where saplings were planted on the college campus by students, faculty, and staff members. This was followed by a campus cleaning drive to remove plastic waste and other debris from the premises.

The aim of the event was to emphasize the importance of taking concrete steps to combat environmental degradation. The Commerce Forum and NSS Unit of the college worked together to raise awareness about the need for sustainable practices and to encourage everyone to do their part in protecting the environment. It helped to foster a sense of environmental responsibility among the participants. As a result of this initiative, the college campus is now cleaner, greener, and more environmentally friendly.
